Here is a simple Winter tale / reading and writing activity. Children can read the text and fill in the missing words. The answers are given in red on the next slide and the pictures around the colour border help children with the words they need. There is a blank border page where children can make up their own Winter tale and use the pictures to help them. Alternatively, they can draw a picture of the Winter tale or a Winter picture of their own.
